 Council Meeting- July 30,2023 1. Anniversary Team- Tentative Program  Will include Choir, Hula, Slideshow, MFABC History 2. VBS- $1,000 from Hawaii Baptist Convention. Special thanks to the families who prepared meals. 3. OBN Youth Camp- MFABC will shoulder $45 to subsidize the $75 registration for the youth. 4. Gina Maban suggested if MFABC can host the next VBS or include MBC. Plan of action in the future is to have VBS before Mission starts. 5. Mission Team- 7 Mission outposts # Gina Maban-  People from her hometown were truly grateful. # Pastor Bong- Saturday training/ translator workshop in preparation for the next mission team. # Lourdes Barraca- Ministered/trained/ had an outreach at an elementary school. Magaba Antique needs follow up. 6.  Council Meeting                                                                               April 1, 2023 Minutes: 1.  Reading of previous minutes by Jo Beltran 2. 2023 Budget c/o of Jennifer Gonzaga- File not ready. 3. Online giving- Pastor Bong would like to recommend to church about looking into online giving using platforms such as Zelle. Jennifer Gonzaga would ask a church about the process of doing online giving. Stewardship team ( Jennifer, Marlon Gante and Elda Duro) 4. Ministry Reports # Small group- Joanne Nocasa. Training is needed for small group leaders as well as Sunday school teachers. # Sunday School- Jo Beltran.  Actively recruiting more Sunday school teachers especially for Men's group or substitute teacher. # WMU- Rossana Mindo.
