Minutes:

1.  Reading of previous minutes by Jo Beltran

2. 2023 Budget c/o of Jennifer Gonzaga- File not ready.

3. Online giving- Pastor Bong would like to recommend to church about looking into online giving using platforms such as Zelle. Jennifer Gonzaga would ask a church about the process of doing online giving. Stewardship team ( Jennifer, Marlon Gante and Elda Duro)

4. Ministry Reports

# Small group- Joanne Nocasa. Training is needed for small group leaders as well as Sunday school teachers.

# Sunday School- Jo Beltran.  Actively recruiting more Sunday school teachers especially for Men's group or substitute teacher.

# WMU- Rossana Mindo. Gathering at Jean Pascual's residence on April 25. Annual WMU meeting on May 6th at MBC.

# Youth- Micah Abagon. Youth night at Kipapa Park or Wahiawa. Volleyball and bible study.

# Men- Fellowship through Messenger every Friday night.

5. Bible Reading c/o of Gina Maban and Marion Hall. 

6. Mission outreach at Antique. Donna Roldan and Lourdes Barraca to raise funds for training Pastors and leaders.

7. A copy of family roster is to be made available for Deacon's ministry.

 Council Meeting.    May 5, 2024 1. Prayer : Pastor Bong  2. Stewardship Team: Jamby to have access to Quickbooks Online banking: American Savings Bank. $2000 ( 2 years missed giving) to go to Sta. Barbara church. New form for accounting Tithes and Offerings. Joanne ,Sally and Elda as  representative  to the bank. Jamby to help reconcile the books from 2022. 3. Online giving as another option to donate or tithe in the future,  Further discussions on MFABC funds to be invested i.e. Endowment fund 4. Mission:May 25- June 16 Zamboanga, Bacolod, Nueva Ecija. Council Meeting January 28,2024

 1. Prayer Pastor Bong  2. 2023 income - $59,950.06  PDF Report here            expenses - $56,275.91   cash receipt over $ 3,674.15 3. The body approved the 2023  financial report by Elda Duro. 4. MFABC to write 2 checks ( $1,500) to MBC for a total of $3,000.00 for building.  5. Sta. Barbara fund to be designated for Antique $1,200.00 6.Pastor Bong's challenge to tithe faithfully.  7.MFABC moved to pass the 2024 budget. 8. June 2024 Missions  to Japan(4 days) and Sta. Barbara. Antique and Negros Occidental.  Mac Macaraeg has a fellow church member who is willing to donate one hectare for church ministry.  9.MFABC approved the motion to support mission on June 2024. 10. Pastor Bong's proposal to start the vision for our own place in the next 5 years.  By 2029 our church will make a decision to make a site fund that coincides with 30th MFABC Anniversary.  11. Council Meeting August 4, 2024

 1. Prayer - Pastor Bong  2. Reading of Minutes  3. Stewardship ( Elda Duro) $500 was given to Sta. Barbara church. Additional $1500  designated in 2023 will be sent in prorated amount.  4.  Zelle or Venmo are online giving options. The body agreed to open another separate account for this. Joanne Nocasa and Jo Beltran are authorized signers than can open a new account.  5. Mission Update - Pastor Bong Abagon        Sunday sermons can be compiled to be used for pulpit or small group discussions. Pastors and leaders in the Philippines were equipped with the previous series of sermons.        Sta. Barbara Christian Fellowship's children's ministry is growing but the adult ministry needs strengthening.   6. Stewardship Reports- Elda Duro and Jamby Ayalde  2023 accounts were reconciled and we are in a positive financial situation. 12/4 and 12/8 have no record of deposits of tithes and offerings.
