Council Meeting May 5 2024

 Council Meeting.    May 5, 2024 1. Prayer : Pastor Bong  2. Stewardship Team: Jamby to have access to Quickbooks Online banking: American Savings Bank. $2000 ( 2 years missed giving) to go to Sta. Barbara church. New form for accounting Tithes and Offerings. Joanne ,Sally and Elda as  representative  to the bank. Jamby to help reconcile the books from 2022. 3. Online giving as another option to donate or tithe in the future,  Further discussions on MFABC funds to be invested i.e. Endowment fund 4. Mission:May 25- June 16 Zamboanga, Bacolod, Nueva Ecija. Body approved the mission. 5. MFABC voted to hold  VBS on 3rd week of July. Tentative budget: $1000.00 6. Meeting adjourned. 

Council Meeting January 28,2024

 1. Prayer Pastor Bong  2. 2023 income - $59,950.06  PDF Report here            expenses - $56,275.91   cash receipt over $ 3,674.15 3. The body approved the 2023  financial report by Elda Duro. 4. MFABC to write 2 checks ( $1,500) to MBC for a total of $3,000.00 for building.  5. Sta. Barbara fund to be designated for Antique $1,200.00 6.Pastor Bong's challenge to tithe faithfully.  7.MFABC moved to pass the 2024 budget. 8. June 2024 Missions  to Japan(4 days) and Sta. Barbara. Antique and Negros Occidental.  Mac Macaraeg has a fellow church member who is willing to donate one hectare for church ministry.  9.MFABC approved the motion to support mission on June 2024. 10. Pastor Bong's proposal to start the vision for our own place in the next 5 years.  By 2029 our church will make a decision to make a site fund that coincides with 30th MFABC Anniversary.  11.  Council Meeting - December 10,2023 1. Jennifer Gonzaga stepped down, Elda Duro and Sally Flores to assist in the following: # Financial statement to be turned in to Marlon Gante. # Template for ministry budget. 2. Marlon Gante will compare and prepare 2024 financial budget. 3. Ministry leaders to take care of their: @ vision and how to accomplish the goal. @budget @ who will lead the ministry. 4. December 24th- potluck for all. Each family to draw out names. $10 for kids and youth. Adults exchange gift is $30. Men to provide lechon. Marlon suggested plastic foldable table to be purchased. 5. Pastor Bong shared that FBC of Wahiawa is requesting him to re-apply his contract to full time. 6. Youth MInistry- Nezt Gen worship rally at Waipahu CC. Council Meeting- July 30, 2023

 Council Meeting- July 30,2023 1. Anniversary Team- Tentative Program  Will include Choir, Hula, Slideshow, MFABC History 2. VBS- $1,000 from Hawaii Baptist Convention. Special thanks to the families who prepared meals. 3. OBN Youth Camp- MFABC will shoulder $45 to subsidize the $75 registration for the youth. 4. Gina Maban suggested if MFABC can host the next VBS or include MBC. Plan of action in the future is to have VBS before Mission starts. 5. Mission Team- 7 Mission outposts # Gina Maban-  People from her hometown were truly grateful. # Pastor Bong- Saturday training/ translator workshop in preparation for the next mission team. # Lourdes Barraca- Ministered/trained/ had an outreach at an elementary school. Online giving- Pastor Bong would like to recommend to church about looking into online giving using platforms such as Zelle.
