 Council Meeting- July 30,2023 1. Anniversary Team- Tentative Program  Will include Choir, Hula, Slideshow, MFABC History 2. VBS- $1,000 from Hawaii Baptist Convention. Special thanks to the families who prepared meals. 3. OBN Youth Camp- MFABC will shoulder $45 to subsidize the $75 registration for the youth. 4. Gina Maban suggested if MFABC can host the next VBS or include MBC. Plan of action in the future is to have VBS before Mission starts. 5. Mission Team- 7 Mission outposts # Gina Maban-  People from her hometown were truly grateful. # Pastor Bong- Saturday training/ translator workshop in preparation for the next mission team. # Lourdes Barraca- Ministered/trained/ had an outreach at an elementary school.  Council Meeting in preparation for Sunday's Business Meeting on 05/19/2021.  Who is the council?   ARTICLE III- CHURCH COUNCIL A Church Council shall be comprised of all elected ministerial staff, the chairperson of the deacons, thedirectors of all program organizations as indicated in article V, and the chairpersons of all church committees.  The Pastor shall serve as chairperson of the Church Council. The Church Council serves as the administrative body of the church and shall meet at least on the last Sunday of every other month - February, April, June, August, October and December- to schedule and coordinate the works of the church and to prepare and print a Church Calendar of Activities for all family members before the end of the year.
